About
The Wollumbin Dragons are a community paddle sport club based on the Tweed River in the Northern Rivers, with a postal base in Murwillumbah. Dragon boating is a team paddling sport, and the club has been a successful one — its crews have won medals at local, state, national and international level.
Training is held on the river: weekday sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5pm from McLeod Street, Condong, and Saturday mornings from 7am at the Tumbulgum boat ramp. The club also runs Dragons Abreast Wollumbin, welcoming breast cancer survivors to paddle, making it an inclusive, all-abilities community group.
