About
The Murwillumbah Visitor Information Centre is the Tweed's official accredited visitor centre, now based at the historic Murwillumbah Railway Station on Tweed Valley Way β right at the trail head of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. The centre moved here from the former World Heritage Rainforest Centre, which was repeatedly flood-damaged and has since been removed as part of the Budd Park upgrade.
Staff and volunteers help visitors and locals with maps, brochures, accommodation ideas and tips on what to see and do across Murwillumbah, the Tweed Valley and the wider region β from Wollumbin (Mount Warning) and the rainforest to galleries, markets and the rail trail itself. Entry is free and the centre is open seven days a week.
