About
Knox Park is Murwillumbah's main town park, sitting in the centre of town on Brisbane Street within easy walking distance of the main street. Its standout feature is a large adventure playground β opened in 2015 and a long-running favourite with local families β complete with a high bridge, tunnel slide, flying fox, nature-play creek and water pump, plus a separate, gentler playground for toddlers.
Alongside the playgrounds there's a plaza-style skate and scooter youth precinct, tennis courts, a pond with fountains, open lawns, BBQs and undercover picnic seating, with toilets and parking close by. On the third Saturday of each month the park hosts the Makers & Finders Market, bringing local produce, vintage finds and pre-loved goods to the green. Entry to the park is free and it's open at all hours.
Best For
